LibreOffice Writer supports multiple language dictionaries that are used to validate the grammar of the words as you type alongside spelling. The Writer shows red color curved line under the incorrect word in the document after it validates. Spell check was previously working for us in Teams app for Windows Desktop. Now, every word gets underlined as a misspelling. Uninstalling then installing again clears the issue until the next login. In Edge works fine. Remove red and green wavy underlines from all Word documents: Uncheck the box next to Check spelling as you type, the box next to Mark grammar errors as you type, and the box next to Check grammar with spelling. Then all the red and green wavy underlines should be gone. Tips: By this way, red and green wavy underlines won’t. Double-click to highlight the word & then right-click just as you would anywhere elese. Suggestions will be at the top of the list. Many times there are no suggestions. Of course, make sure secondary click is turned on in the mouse preferences in System Preferences.
Click File Options Proofing, clear the Check spelling as you type box, and click OK. To turn spell check back on, repeat the process and select the Check spelling as you type box. To check spelling manually, click Review Spelling & Grammar. But do remember to run spell check. A: Activate the Spell Check Setting
The automatic Spell Check function might be disabled sometimes and users could reactivate it. Please click File tab in Word 2010 and 2013 (or click the Office button in Word 2007) > Word Options > Proofing. If you are using Classic Menu for Office, click Tools > Word Options > Proofing.
